摘要: Nutritional status is associated with clinical outcomes in dialysis patients. Inflammation may cause malnutrition and increases the risk of poor outcomes. We have investigated relationship between nutritional markers, an inflammatory marker, survival 177 peritoneal (PD) patients, enrolled from 1991 to 2005. In 53 bioimpedance analysis (BIA) measurements were conducted November 2000. a subgroup 42 we measured high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (CRP) various markers including prealbumin serially May 2003. All patients followed April 2006. Mean enrollment albumin levels 3.61±0.51g/dl 35.8±11.3mg/dl, respectively. median CRPs 13.53±20.81 (s.d.) 7.15mg/l, Higher such as ( P =0.08) better survival. Single level was significant predictor mortality (relative (RR)=0.977, =0.032) PD up 15 years. The BIA parameter phase angle, independently inversely (RR=0.536, =0.01). Enrollment CRP independent factor for (RR=1.025, =0.035). correlated Malnutrition inflammation are highly prevalent often coexist each additionally contribute high these Dietary therapeutic interventions improve chronic need further exploration.
