Differential operator technique for higher spin problems

摘要: A new effective-field theory for the Blume-Capel model with a high spin value S is developed by making use of exact identities and taking advantage differential operator technique. The general formulation evaluating transition line tricritical point derived. In particular, phase diagrams are examined = 32 2. Our results show that behavior does not exist in spin-32 but spin-2 model. 2 system found at D/zJ≅−0.498, where z coordination number, D crystal-field constant J exchange interaction.
