摘要: Illegal fishing is a problem widely observed in fisheries around the world and Lake Malawi no exception. The long alleviation attempts of central government based on strategy enforcement sanctions have proved largely ineffective leading to persistence this governability challenge. An alternate perspective sought chapter by emphasizing people’s fundamental notions such as values, images principles. In order better understand what they look like how may differ amongst stakeholders, damage schedule was employed. results display significant disparity governors resource users regard value priority, with former group judging conservation be top concern, while latter strongly favors advancement economic wellbeing. This finding demonstrates socio-economic diversity underlying views about fishery, which provides partial but important insights towards illegal Malawi. Such poses certain limit system, must made aware genuinely acted upon all those involved governance.
