摘要: A concept in frequency selective surface (FSS) technology that stems from Babinet's principle, whereby a hybrid of two closely coupled FSS, layer conducting elements and aperture are etched either side dielectric substrate, acronymed as complementary FSS (CFSS) is introduced. There narrow passbands separated by distinct null. The CFSS creates electrically large physically small ones to such an extent conventional /spl lambda//2 resonator free space at the lower passband resonant would be over three times longer than dipole length employed CFSS. This highly stable for normal oblique TE TM incidences, with less 2% shift. full wave modal analysis developed integral equations (IEs), electric field IE magnetic IE, derived. These IEs this renders them suitable solution problem. interlayer region critical location well in-band loss. Results presented ring compared measured data up 40 GHz.
