摘要: Background/aims Crohn's disease is characterized by a high incidence of perianastomotic recurrence after ileocolonic resection. The influence anastomotic configuration on the reoperation was evaluated in patients undergoing resection for disease. Methodology 106 affected were divided two groups: group I with hand-sewn end-to-side or side-to-side isoperistaltic anastomosis (30 patients) and II functional end-to-end made linear staplers (76 patients). Results morbidity 4.7%: 3 complications postoperative death occurred II. There 5 recurrences (16.7%) 2 (2.6%) stapled group, rate 3.54 0.92, respectively. Conclusions Our non-randomized study suggests better trend toward technique, terms rate. These observations need further investigation randomized controlled trials, to compare different procedures.
