摘要: This thesis is concerned with the factors that determine performance of everyday action. Six empirical chapters are subsequently presented. First, I sought to investigate effects presence distractors and task load on life tasks, comparing a patient ADS controls operating (Chapter 2). The data indicate patients may suffer different demands. role schema ADL was examined in Chapter 3. results showed there problem using drive action under on-line constraints performing Relation between object recognition tested Chapters 4 5. ‘object use’ effect maintained even when impaired semantic access for objects. final study 7), investigated eye movements an everyday. There were proportionately more unrelated fixations locating objects than controls. In addition, away from being used made earlier patient, toying errors linked multiple, brief involved. chapter (8), review evidence across discuss implications work understanding both normal disordered actions. not only point complexity processes supporting such actions, but also critical interactions attention tasks.
