摘要: Abstract The Treated Patellidae Shells (TPS) packed in a fixed bed column for the removal of emerging contaminant such as bifenthrin provides novel insights into waste valorisation, application environmentally harmless sorbents and pesticide with extension possibilities larger applications. biosorbent was characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDS, TGA-DTA, pHPZC, BET analysis. TPS is composed single phase calcium carbonate (CaCO3) having high specific area 158 m2/g. effects important parameters flow rate, height, particles size feed concentration were studied. results show that efficiency higher inlet lower size. optimum adsorption capacity (40.53 mg) achieved using rate 8 mL/min, depth 4 cm (1.6 g), range 50–100 μm 20 mg/L. To model experimental data, Bohart-Adams (B-A), Thomas (T) Yoon-Nelson (Y-N) models used. mathematical formulas these three are equivalent, why Chu logistic developed to fit data value both adjusted correlation coefficient (Adj. R2) chi-square (χ2), each set. non-linear form showed good between predicted observed values Adj. R2 smaller χ2 values. therefore made it possible calculate actual parameter B-A, T Y-N models. study isotherm allows Langmuir suitable describing data. This adjustment indicates favorable biosorbent. regenerative power reveals has can be recycled remove molecules. effective removing pesticides considered an alternative commercial adsorbent.
