摘要: Abstract Complex morphogenetic events, critical for the development of normal cerebellum foliation and layering, are known to involve type III intermediate filament protein such as vimentin expressed by Bergmann glia. The present study aimed determine aspects late embryonic pattern expression during corticogenesis chicken at days 10–19 (E10-E19), using single double immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence. Vimentin showed partial co-localization with glial markers GFAP BLBP. Within cerebellar cortex, vimentin+ fibers were first found within lobules I X (E10) gradually extended all folia (E15-E17), located external granule (EGL) molecular cell layer, showing a radial orientation towards inner granular layer white matter oriented longitudinally. Interestingly, immature fissures base most lobules, radiate in fan shape. Short-term BrdU experiments revealed that EGL proliferation was higher fissure compared apex. In addition, following 24-h survival, BrdU+ cells close association pre-migratory zone layer. Paralleling development, sub-regions (base, wall, apex), but, day E19, it mainly confined apex secondary base. Taken together our data further support possible role structural events corticogenesis, suggesting participation radial/Bergmann glia foliation, similarly described mammalian morphogenesis.
