Adult Education Research: Publication Strategies and Collegial Recognition

摘要: In recent years, researchers throughout the world have come under increased pressure to publish in English, direct their scholarly work internationally acclaimed journals indexed dominating databases (i.e. Scopus and Web of Science) render citable among peers other countries. this chapter, we summarize some bibliometric studies that mapped out what kind research been published cited three leading related adult––lifelong education learning––and which has given recognition. We argue strong political waves managerial reform made academic career trajectories promotions more dependent upon publications citations, thus necessitating a discussion about most effective publication strategies for submission. At same time, acknowledge multiple professional demands adult educational scholars highlight ways different definitions impact might stand conflict with one another.
