摘要: The complete sequence of the mitochondrial genome giant tiger prawn, Penaeus monodon (Arthropoda, Crustacea, Malacostraca), is presented. gene content and order are identical to those observed in Drosophila yakuba. overall AT composition lower than that known insect genomes, but higher other two crustaceans for which available. Analysis effect nucleotide bias on codon across Arthropoda reveals a trend with represented showing lowest proportion AT-rich codons protein genes. Phylogenetic analysis among arthropods using concatenated protein-coding sequences provides further support possibility Crustacea paraphyletic. Furthermore, contrast data from nuclear EF1alpha, first malacostracan supports Malacostraca more closely related Insecta Branchiopoda.
