摘要: We have generated a new heterogeneous catalyst by bridging an oxo-molybdenum Schiff base on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) via covalent attachment. The resulting POSS-bridged complex was fully characterized 1H NMR, XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TGA, and contact angle analysis, its catalytic potential studied for the epoxidation of alkenes using aqueous tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as oxidant. found to be highly efficient showed higher reactivity than corresponding homogeneous analogues with added benefits facile recovery recycling catalyst. successfully reused four runs without significant loss in activity. unique three dimensional network structure hydrophobic properties POSS units are revealed responsible catalyst's excellent performance reactions.
