摘要: The strictly nocturnal dwarf lemurs(Cheirogaleus)are extraordinary among primates in showing extensive torpor phases during the austral winter, which is thought to be an adaptation seasonal variation food availability. Fat-tailed Dwarf Lemur(C. medius)is found throughout west and south of Madagascar enters for six eight months. Such a long period dormancy may influence their social organization. A 20-month field study carried out at Station Forestiure d’ Ampijoroa revealed monogamous pattern forC. medius.
