摘要: Functionalized gold nanoparticles decorated reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheets were used as an electrical sensing platform for highly selective and sensitive Hg2+ detection. RGO synthesized by reduction of (GO) produced well-known Hummer’s method. further with thioglycolic acid (TGA) functionalized (GNPs) simple chemical approach. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) absorbance analysis done to confirm the presence being attached sheets. Transmission (TEM) was performed analyze shape size distribution on TGA functionalization GNPs confirmed Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopic analysis. The fabricated observed impart n-type nature characteristics which supported Hall measurements. sensor performance towards investigated electrically in other competitive contaminants. found be Pb2+, Cd2+ As5+. interaction layer also studied using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Our work suggests that RGO-GNP-TGA (RGT) hybrid structures are promising low-cost, portable real-time room temperature heavy metal ion detectors.
