摘要: The theoretical framework based only on the excluded volume forces is not enough to explain bovine serum albumin partitioning behaviour in aqueous biphasic systems. goal of this work look at phase separation via polymer effect water structure. Our findings suggest that polyethyleneglycol 600-protein interaction conducted by van der Waals between hydrophobic surfaces from PEG and protein molecules, which implies rupture hydrogen bonds structured their neighbours. Therefore, will concentrate most water-structured (polyethyleneglycol) order reach minimal free energy condition. When molecular weight increases, its exclusion surface prevails, thus pushing bottom phase.
