摘要: The following review was constructed as a concept paper based on recent workshop neurodegenerative disease sponsored by the National Institute Aging (NIA), American Geriatric Society (AGS), and John A. Hartford Foundation. meeting entitled “Thinking, moving feeling: Common underlying mechanisms? 4th Annual Bedside-to-Bench Conference” had purpose to connect current basic clinical findings common brainrelated alterations occurring with aging such depression, movement disorders, cognitive decline. Many prominent researchers expressed their opinion it revealed that age-related brain dysfunction of any kind seems share several risk factors and/or pathways. But can something be done actively achieve “successful aging”? In this review, largely literature, we have summarized some theories for impairment aging, well potential preventive measures. We also emerging need relevant animal models how these could developed utilized.
