摘要: Application of beneficial microorganisms to seed for use in agriculture, forestry and horticulture has been under intensive investigation many years (118). Microorganisms can be applied perform specific functions, notably nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilization, plant-growth promotion, biological control plant pathogens and, more recently, pests (recent reviews include Paau, 1988;49;63;122;63;147;22; 110). Applying is an attractive proposition because the combination effect limited environmental 256 seeds impact (see also section5.3.1). In familiar adage, treatment potential deliver agents “in right amount, at place, time”. With increasing public awareness health hazards both agrochemicals fertilizers, advances biotechnology improve performance microbial products, application likely increase future.
