摘要: Fibres obtained by gel spinning of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) were drawn to various ratios, and the improvement tensile strength hot-drawn filaments with increasing draw ratio has been studied. The force at break gel-spun/hot-drawn UHMWPE fibres appeared be constant for ratios exceeding λ=30. From scaling arguments, full chain extension is expected this ratio. On basis development physical properties during drawing, it concluded that little disentangling occurs up Beyond point, slippage chains through entanglement hooks becomes predominant. observed can explained drawing mechanism.
