摘要: Unilateral megalencephaly is a rare and poorly understood malformation resulting in the enlargement of all or part cerebral hemisphere. The clinical radiologic features 12 patients with unilateral are presented; pathologic correlation was available four. All had seizures developmental delay. Two were congestive heart failure as result arteriovenous shunting through abnormal affected hemispheres showed wide spectrum involvement. Anomalies neuronal migration present, there roughly inverse between severity hemispheric involvement magnitude enlargement. This explained via proposed mechanism mild insult middle-to-late second trimester. One patient an extremely anomalous hemisphere that did not have characteristics anomaly may been hamartomatous malformation. Our clinical, radiologic, megalencephaly, together theory pathogenesis, should help elucidate this
