摘要: The widely practiced rapid-sequence induction with application of cricoid pressure is designed to facilitate endotracheal intubation in patients considered be at high risk aspiration. We describe a case which this maneuver was performed on patient an undiagnosed traumatic injury the larynx. resulting airway obstruction required emergency surgical intervention. clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management such injuries are discussed.
