摘要: In brief: Boxing is a controversial sport, and numerous reports have been published about injuries in professional amateur bouts. No made, however, sustained when boxing part of an educational program. At the US Military Academy West Point, New York, integral physical development sports program for male cadets. However, because program's safeguards, few serious occur. This paper describes safeguards as well injury pattern at academy over two-year period (1983–84 1984–85). About 2,100 cadets received instruction during that time, with rate less than 4%.
