摘要: Mango trees are evergreen plants that present all around Mauritius. In this study, mango leaves, Mangifera indica grown in Mauritius were investigated for their nutritional values involving proximate composition, total flavonoid (TFC), phenolic (TPC), and mineral content, phytochemicals as well its antioxidant antibacterial properties. The ash, crude fat, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid (ADF), lignin (ADL) of the leaves found to be 12.61, 3.92, 35.32, 34.98, 12.86%, respectively. calcium content (2.15%) was above normal required range, while phosphorus (0.12%) protein (13.60%) within range common fodders. phytochemical results showed presence saponins, alkaloids, phenols, tannins, flavonoids crude, EtOAC, MeOH extracts. TPC TFC higher EtOAC extract compared extract. Several secondary metabolites identified from which include 11 4 xanthones, 9 flavanols, 10 benzophenones, 7 terpenoids, derivatives gallotannins using UPLC-MS/MS. these is responsible good Hence, can exploited potential use a supplementary fodder ruminants.
