摘要: Plant metabolomics offers some unique opportunities in the assignment of biochemical pathways. The genetics model plants is well-characterized which enables functional genomic approaches, qualitativetrait loci identification and genetic engineering. Metabolomics has successfully supported identificationof gene function. As a specialized system, number key features create challenges insample preparation interpretation metabolomic data. Significantly, most plant tissues arecomposed multiple cell types are difficult to isolate, often resulting limited numbersper type. This hinders spatial resolution analysis metabolites. Secondly, cells aresurrounded by dynamic wall constant turnover, interfering with metabolome.Thirdly, green capable fixing carbon through photosynthesis producing metabolite-capturedenergy. also implies strong light-dependency metabolism. Finally, characterizedby diversity secondary metabolites produced response environmental stimuli.
