摘要: Augmented Reality Systems (ARS) attempt to enhance humans’ perception of their indoors and outdoors working living environments understanding tasks that they need carry out. The enhancement is effected by complementing the human senses with virtual input. For example, when visual sense enhanced, an ARS allows objects be superimposed on a real world projecting onto objects. This provides user additional information he/she could not perceive his/her senses. In order receive input around them augmented time computer-generated features, users wear special equipment, such as head-mounted devices or wearable computing gears. Tracking technologies are very important in and, fact, constitute one challenging research development topic. involve both hardware software issues, but this chapter we focus tracking computation. computation refers problem estimating position orientation user’s viewpoint, assuming camera. crucial display composed images properly maintain correct registration worlds. has recently become highly active area ARS. Indeed, recent years, several approaches vision-based using camera have been proposed, can classified into two main categories, namely “marker-based tracking” “marker-less tracking.” chapter, provide concise introduction for mobile present overview most popular developed area. We also practical examples illustrating how conceive evaluate systems.
