摘要: To determine the genotoxicity of nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and related molecules (nPAH) we examined 24 compounds representative nitroanthracenes, nitrofluorenes, nitronaphthalenes, nitropyrenes, nitroquinolines for in Escherichia coli PQ37 (SOS-chromotest). enhance sensitivity tester strain optimize metabolic activation used a modified test protocol S9-mix composition. All chemicals with exception 9-nitroanthracene, 1- 2-nitronaphthalene, 2-methyl-1-nitronaphthalene, 5-, 6-, 8-nitroquinoline induced SOS system E. PQ37. As expected from previously referred mutagenicity studies, highest inducing potencies (SOSIP) were exhibited by dinitropyrenes (SOSIP = 151-416), 4-nitroquinoline-N-oxide 62), 3-nitrofluoranthese 16). Except some nPAHs showed their absence an exogeneous system. The results compared to those reported bacterial these substances Salmonella typhimurium TA98.
