摘要: A study was conducted at a commercial piggery to examine the effects of housing weaned sows either adjacent or away from boars on oestrus detection rate. One hundred and eighty-eight were studied used for detection. There high rate in with only 1.0% both treatments unmated by 21 days post-weaning. Although there appeared be no significant treatment effect rate, evidence some difficulty Adjacent treatment: percentages mated once Away 9.6 1.1%, respectively (X12=6.5, P<0.05). weaning mating interval, farrowing litter size.
