摘要: An ore containing kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O), alunite (KAl3(SO4)2(OH)6), feldspar (KAlSi3O8) and quartz (SiO2) was analysed by TG/DTA to determine the mineralogical composition of samples considered representative concentrates tailings likely be obtained from physical treatments designed produce a kaolin concentrate as low possible in alunite. The divided into various particle-size fractions each which subjected analysis. A knowledge reactions decomposition temperatures minerals present permits application system equations that provides size fraction, thus circumventing difficulties due overlapping weight-loss curves during execution thermal curve. results provided TG are good agreement with those via standard calculation starting elemental chemical less accurate but they follow same trend analyses, except for finest fractions, can used relative comparison treatment testing campaign.
