摘要: Abstract An important application of XML is the interchange electronic data (EDI) between multiple sources on Web. As proliferates Web, applications will need to integrate and aggregate from source clean transform facilitate exchange. Data extraction, conversion, transformation, integration are all well-understood database problems, their solutions rely a query language. We present language for XML, called XML-QL, which we argue suitable performing above tasks. XML-QL declarative, `relational complete' simple enough that it can be optimized. extract existing documents construct new documents.
