摘要: The study of the morphology tidal networks and their relation to salt marsh vegetation is currently an active area research, a number theories have been developed which require validation using extensive observations. Conventional methods measuring associated can be cumbersome subjective. Recent advances in remote sensing techniques mean that these now often reduce measurement effort whilst at same time increasing scale. status reviewed. network planforms variables possible sufficient resolution digital aerial photography airborne scanning laser altimetry (LiDAR), with LiDAR also being able measure channel depths. A multi-level knowledge-based technique described extract from semi-automated fashion. This allows objective detailed geomorphological information on obtained over large areas inter-tidal zone. Associated classified into its component species hyperspectral satellite multispectral data. Other potential applications for studies include determining spatial relationships between vegetation, platform roughness, in-channel velocities sediment processes, studying pans, restoration schemes.
