Semisolid microstructure evolution of AZ91D alloy under high shear rate

摘要: Experimental work was undertaken to investigate the effect of rotation speed on solidification microstructure AZ91D alloy using a twin-screw slurry maker. Then numerical simulation used flow filed and temperature field melt. It found that increasing could give rise substantial grain refinement, which can be attributed increase effective nucleation rate caused by extremely uniform dispersing any potential clusters agents in bulk liquid under dispersive mixing.
