摘要: Responses of biological indices and oxidative stress biomarkers were studied in the giant clam Tridacna maxima fish Epinephelus merra collected from two sites differing by their level contamination French Polynesian Moorea island. Higher levels catalase (CAT), glutathione-S-transferases (GST) thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARs) observed hepatopancreas T. liver E. compared to muscle. CAT TBARs significantly higher clams impacted site (Vaiare) reference (bay Cook). The same pattern was for merra. These results indicate that both organisms exposed contaminants leading an demonstrate, first time, usefulness as sentinel species biomonitoring reef environments.
