摘要: High-voltage (1,000-kV) electron microscope examination of whole BSC-1 cells infected with vaccinia virus at different times after infection revealed the presence increasing numbers virions no longer confined to factories but situated along cell periphery monolayer cells. Stereoscopic images showed each enclosed within a membrane-like component host cytoplasm. Viruses appeared lack similar enclosures. Cytochalasin B, not vinblastine, caused enclosures disrupt. Vaccinia viruses were observed escape individually from tips microvillie and packets Observations suggest that intracellular movement release utilize cytoplasmic network involves microfilaments for stability.
