Microstructural Evolution of Cr-Ta Powder in the Process of Mechanical Alloying

摘要: High energy ball mill tests under the condition of material mass ratio 13:1 and rotate speed 400 r/min have been employed to investigate process mechanical alloying (MA) Ta Cr powder mixed in mole 1:2.The microstructure evolution phase composition were explained useing scanning electron microscope (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that, milled 20h existed (Cr) supersaturated solid solution amorphous after 40h. Although hours spent on milling reached 50h, Laves TaCr2 had not made during process.
