摘要: This paper presents an information-technology-based collaboration framework that facilitates disaster response operations. The incorporates a web service, radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, building blackbox system (BBS), geo-database, and geographic information (GIS). Through the integration of these technologies, provides medium for first responders, including civil engineers, to cohesively respond disasters. Access critical information, such as construction documents, through BBS supports assessments integrity during response. Building assessment is stored on RFID which are accessible responders digital devices via wireless ad hoc network. With on-site shown map, decision makers locate, collect, distribute resources GIS responders. In addition, at distributed locations evaluate incident discussion sessions, hosted by environment, integrated making. Test-bed simulations have been carried out with encouraging results training ground Illinois Fire Service Institute.
