摘要: We report what is believed to be the first diode-pumped Yb(3+): SrY(4)(SiO(4)) (3)O laser. investigate both cw and mode-locked regimes. In regime an average output power of 1.05 W demonstrated for 3.6 incident pump power. femtosecond a pulse duration 94 fs 110 mW obtained at central wavelength 1068 nm. This is, our knowledge, oscillator made with Yb-doped apatitelike crystal. These properties are related unique spectroscopic Yb(3+) ions in this atypical apatite-family
