A unified approach to the interpretation of displacive and order–disorder systems. I. Thermodynamical aspect

摘要: Some properties of a linear chain harmonically coupled double wells are studied by the technique transfer operator. Exact values for specific heat, displacement probability density, and first six even moments dynamical correlation function obtained. The model is shown to be prototype displacive as well order–disorder transitions depending on strength harmonic coupling. Criteria behavior system derived. By this method, it was not possible find exact form functions very anharmonic cases; so in general systems, but also small wave vector temperature region systems.
