摘要: H2-c-fos transgenic (c-fos+) mice are characterized by the inability to raise specific IgG antibodies against immunizing Ag. To examine contribution of Ag-specific antibody development arthritis, Ag-induced arthritis was produced in c-fos+ and their control littermates (c-fos- mice). Intra-articular injection OVA into c-fos- hyperimmunized with induced destructive massive lymphocyte infiltration. The also developed comparable degree that seen mice. However, joints from had few or no infiltrating lymphocytes. majority cells invading extensively eroded collagenous tissue a mesenchymal appearance. These cells, producing excess amounts c-Fos protein, adhered invaded cartilage matrix when cultured on slices. thus, appear directly cause joint destruction
