摘要: Abstract : A nonlinear anisotropic elastic-plastic model is developed for single crystals of the energetic material cyclotrimethylene trinitramine (RDX). The accounts orthorhombic symmetry elastic constants, pressure-dependent compressibility, and dislocation glide on six slip systems. Numerical simulations spherical indentation oriented are performed. Model predictions compared with experimental data observations from literature. Results demonstrate significant influences anisotropy nonlinearity. response using constants obtained resonant ultrasound spectroscopy agree data; predicted forces Brillouin scattering tend to exceed data. Predicted system activity that deduced residual surface profiles. Indentation by elastic-perfectly plastic those observed in experiments, suggesting possibly subsurface fractures may contribute a loss stiffness experiments at larger depths.
