摘要: Abstract Background The overlap between progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and non-fluent aphasia (PNFA) is being increasingly recognized. In this paper descriptive writing in patients with Richardson syndrome of (PSP-RS) compared to samples from PNFA. Methods Twenty-seven participated the study: 17 clinical diagnosis PSP-RS 10 Untimed written picture description was administered during neuropsychological assessment subsequently scored by two raters blinded diagnosis. Lexical syntactic content, as well errors (e.g. omission perseverative errors) were analyzed. Results both letter diacritic mark very frequent. Micrographia present 8 cases (47%) group one case (10%) Perseverative did not differentiate groups. Conclusions As predominate PSP-RS, seems be compromised mainly because oculomotor deficits, that may alter visual feedback while writing.
