摘要: The neural crest is a transient cell population that travels long distances through the embryo to form wide range of derivatives. extensive migration highly unusual and incompletely understood. We examined ability cells (NCCs) migrate under different conditions in vitro. Unlike most motile types, avian NCCs efficiently on fibronectin concentrations. Strikingly, laminin depends axial level from which derived. On high concentrations laminin, cranial at approximately twice rate trunk show greater persistence, higher percentage migratory cells, less organized cytoskeleton. difference between not due transcriptional differences integrin mRNA, but rather posttranslational regulation. Overexpression single sufficient significantly slow velocity cultured densities. These results demonstrate accommodate ECM vitro suggest regulation along anterior-posterior axis may contribute fate.
