摘要: Abstract To directly use hydrocarbon fuel without a reforming process, new microstructure for Ni/Sm0.2Ce0.8O2−δ (Ni/SDC) anodes, in which the Ni surface of anode is covered with porous Sm0.2Ce0.8O2−δ thin film, was investigated as an alternative to conventional Ni/YSZ anodes. The SDC layer coated on pores using sol–gel coating method. cell performance improved by 20%–25% Ni/SDC relative due high ionic conductivity and increase electrochemical reaction sites. For SDC-coated operating methane fuel, no significant degradation observed after 180 h modification film surface, opposes severe that anode, results from carbon deposition cracking. Carbon hardly detected catalytic oxidation deposited well triple-phase-boundary.
