摘要: Aggregatibacter aphrophilus (formerly Haemophilus aphrophilus) (11) is well known as an etiologic agent in infectious endocarditis caused by gram-negative bacteria (7). Most often, however, it found a nonpathogenic, commensal resident of dental plaque and the oropharyngeal flora. The complete genome sequence A. NJ8700 was achieved using hybrid approach shotgun sequencing strategy combined with 454 pyrosequencing (two runs). sequences were assembled Newbler assembler (454 Life Sciences), Sanger reads added to resulting contigs MUMmer (8) custom scripts. linked together into scaffolds Bambus (15), gaps between closed direct technique described N. Nagarajan et al. (submitted for publication), achieving 25-fold coverage. Automated annotation done at Institute Genomic Research/J. Craig Venter through Annotation Engine Service. 2,313,035 bp length, GC content 42.23% 2,320 predicted coding sequences. Approximately 88.4% nucleotides are encode proteins. contains 57 tRNAs, including
