摘要: This paper presents several soft decision iterative decoding schemes for physical-layer network coding (PNC) operated with coded modulation (CM) and bit-interleaved (BICM). With respect to PNC CM, we consider coding-based channel (NC-CD) multi-user complete (MUD-NC) at the relay. Their BICM counterparts are XOR-based (XOR-CD) MUD-XOR, respectively. First, show that, when is non-iterative, there a gap between capacities of both XOR-CD MUD-XOR under Gray mapping their CM counterparts, NC-CD, MUD-NC. in contrast conventional point-to-point communication system, which capacity known be very close capacity, without need decoding. Second, investigate error performance iteratively decoded MUD-XOR. Extrinsic information transfer chart analysis simulation results indicate that these Gray-mapped systems, can achieve considerable gains over non-iterative Again, this provides little gain We further gives rise best rate systems among bits-to-symbol mappings study. Overall, our exhibit different behavior from systems. serves as first foray into investigation issue.
