摘要: The chapter argues that doing metaphysics requires taking science into account and so implies going as far to take a stance on what the appropriate formulation of scientific theories in question is. I illustrate this claim by considering quantum physics. famous measurement problem teaches us answering very mechanics employing conceptual tools philosophy. first set out general metaphysical framework applies all different formulations (namely certain sort holism), then consider three types solution finally conclude despite appearances contrary, Bohm’s theory still stands best candidate for an ontological interpretation theory.
