摘要: Abstract Documented cases of phenotypic change consistent with heritability estimates and the strength direction selection are relatively rare. There several possible reasons for this paucity, including environmental masking genetic change. A new paper by Merila colleagues documents ‘cryptic evolution' in a long-term study collared flycatchers Sweden, makes case hidden evolutionary general.
