摘要: Specimens of Ulva Linnaeus and Enteromorpha Link (Ulvales, Ulvophyceae, Chlorophyta) were collected from 12 sites in eastern Australia identified to species level on the basis morphological characters described major Australian study Womersley (1984). The recognised australis Areschoug, U. lactuca Linnaeus, fasciata Delile, compressa (Linnaeus) Greville, E. flexuosa (Wulfen ex Roth) J.Agardh intestinalis Link. Species placement within genera is problematic features DNA examined order assess their potential use as determinations. Analyses conducted sequence data derived internal transcribed spacer region ITS2, 5.8S gene. Groupings isolates based analyses do not correlate with using morphology nor two genera. Further work required before authoritative conclusions can be reached regarding significance plasticity determination differences between species; nevertheless, studies may provide a backbone upon which base such study.
