摘要: Purpose To determine the effects of combined treatment with corticotomy and skeletal anchorage in open bite correction. Patients Methods Ten patients (6 females, 4 males) ages ranging from 15 to 25 years were involved. All individuals received subapical procedure intrusion forces 200 300 g applied on attachments each molar both premolars during 12 weeks. Mean changes for measurements sample group evaluated Wilcoxon signed ranks test. Results Significant maxillary posterior teeth provided counterclockwise rotation mandible was successfully corrected. SNB angle increased ANB decreased (P Conclusions Our results indicated that use safe noncompliance a short period may be regarded as an alternative method correction adults who reject orthognathic surgery.
