摘要: Abstract Isotopic U–Pb titanite and monazite data from the southern Sao Francisco craton better constrain timing of tectono-thermal event that led to amalgamation crust forms basement its fringing orogenic belts in Palaeoproteroic. The obtained assemblages exposed Quadrilatero Ferrifero mining district adjacent Palaeoproterozoic Mineiro belt magmatic arc terrane reveal two different age populations: a first metamorphic between 2772 2613 Ma, followed by recrystallization or/and isotopic resetting interval 2080–1940 Ma. partial preservation Neoarchaean ages interior suggests metamorphism did not exceed minimum closure temperature for (between 650 °C 700 °C), which is also reinforced absence zircons craton. Combining new existing data, we infer Archaean as well surrounding arcs were affected long-lived ca. 2100 Ma 1940 Ma. These includes an episode syn-collisional 2100 2070 Ma, represents nuclei both Congo cratons, along with microcontinents. This collision large Minas basin, collapse development dome-and-keel architecture time 2070–2050 Ma.
