摘要: Background: Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) is a calcitonin (CT)-producing C-cell tumor. In hereditary cases, germline RET mutation found in 98% of families. Because MTC cured only if intrathyroidal, prophylactic thyroidectomy recommended the gene carrier (GC).
