摘要: Concern is frequently expressed that young people are increasingly taking a 'grazing' approach to eating, rather than eating 'proper meals', and this may have undesirable nutritional social consequences. As part of wide ranging study health well-being, 1,009 fifteen year olds in the Central Clydeside Conurbation were questioned 1987 about their patterns. They reported an average 5.5 occasions per day (2.7 main meals 2.8 snacks), these being concentrated towards end day. Over 40% crisps, confectionery or biscuits at least once day, much higher proportion among cohort 35 same study. We discuss implications for nutrition education suggest picture not as bad sometimes painted.
