摘要: Abstract: Liquid biofuels offer a range of attractive qualities, including the potential for increased energy independency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. However, market penetration supply may be constrained by number factors. In this chapter, use alcohols biodiesel in internal combustion engines is discussed technology flexible-fuel vehicles described. It shown how iso-stoichiometric ternary blends gasoline, ethanol methanol can serve as drop-in fuels E85 flex-fuel vehicles. The chapter goes on to further explore ways which become part wider sustainable system based carbon-neutral liquid transport sector, enabling gradual evolution both vehicle fuel technology.
